A native of Pointe-Noire, Congo Brazzaville, Amanda attended school in French and at age 17 she left her country for Tunisia (Tunis) where she pursued her studies. She has a Bachelor in Private Law, a Master’s Degree in Marketing and Business Intelligence and also a Master’s Degree in Private law – to be completed –
Amanda arrived to Canada in May 2015. She attended Douglas College in Coquitlam BC where she will be earning an Associate Degree in Intercultural Studies and International Relations. Now bilingual (French-English) she will be going at Simon Fraser University this year for a Master’s degree in Political Science. Since her arrival she has volunteered as an Outreach Research Assistant at Reconciliation Canada, a Communication Assistant at Students for High Impact Charity and a Nature House Host at Stanley Park Ecology Society. Back in 2014, she worked as a Junior Competitive Intelligence Analyst at Postal Bank in her hometown.
She is passionate about working with people from all over the world and learning about their different cultures as well as educating employers on the benefits of hiring immigrants.
