Celine has been working in the international education field for over seven years, and is passionate about intercultural awareness and diversity initiatives. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Simon Fraser University where she completed a major in Psychology, and two minors in French and Counselling. During her time at SFU, she sought opportunities for intercultural engagement by participating in a semester abroad in France and volunteering in the International Mentorship Program.
She recently graduated with a Master of Arts in the Intercultural and International Communication Program at Royal Roads University where her research focus was on pre-arrival support for incoming international students. During her program, she took part in an overseas residency in Hangzhou, China where she felt a deeper connection to her cultural roots. Celine is an International Student Coordinator at Langara College where her role involves providing support services for incoming international students through student engagement initiatives, programming, and on-going advising. During Celine’s spare time, she enjoys travelling, learning Mandarin, and trying out various ethnic foods around the city.
